Sky Business Wholesale Golf Day at Nailcote Hall, 11 September 2025
What a brilliant, good-energy day. Together with the Sky Business Wholesale team, we hosted an inclusive golf experience at Nailcote Hall UK that welcomed every ability level, from first-timers to low handicaps. The par-3 layout made short-game learning fast, visible and fun, with water, elevation changes and plenty of bunkers to keep things interesting.
A format built “for all”
Most corporate golf days feel stuffy, slow and intimidating for casual golfers, with too many rules, too much jargon and not enough simple wins. We designed the flow to be the opposite, simple, encouraging and confidence building for everyone. After a relaxed welcome and introductions, we ran a focused Timeless Golf Swing confidence session to free up movement before heading outside. Golfers then enjoyed a short on-course competition, while newer players rotated through an intro to golf in the simulator with simple, high-impact drills. We regrouped later for a light-hearted team scramble where experienced players took the longer shots and newcomers finished holes on and around the green. Shared wins, shared smiles.
On LinkedIn, the event was previewed as the Sky Golf Day “Fore All” at Nailcote Hall, and post-event comments called it a brilliant day to connect and learn together.
What people learned (and felt)
Freedom beats force. Softer grip and smoother rhythm gave many players straighter shots and surprising distance without trying harder.
Head and eyes can move. Allowing natural head and eye flow removed tension and tidied contact.
Finish to balance. Committing to a relaxed finish position proved to be the quickest route to better strike and direction.
Why Nailcote worked so well
A compact par-3 setting makes improvement visible fast. Players picked precise landing spots, committed to their numbers with wedges, and sharpened pace control on true-running greens. Nailcote Hall also hosts the British Par 3 Championship, which gives a company day a special sense of occasion. Hospitality and logistics were seamless, and the clubhouse balcony was perfect for debriefs and prize giving.
